The Helvault was a promotional box for the Avacyn Restored Prerelease events. It was shaped after the Helvault, a large rock of moonsilver that played an important role in the storyline. The Helvault included oversized cards of the five legendary mythic creatures in Avacyn Restored, being Griselbrand; Avacyn, Angel of Hope; Sigarda, Host of Herons; Gisela, Blade of Goldnight; and Bruna, Light of Alabaster, as well as a double-sided Angel/Demontoken and gray Avacyn Restored spindown dice. Helvaults contained 54 oversized legend cards, 108 double-sided tokens, and 54 spindown dice.

A small percentage (likely 1% or less) of the Helvaults contained premium foil versions of all the cards within. These special versions also contained a random previously-released promotional card. These cards were chosen for having to do with angels, demons, or holy matters, with Serra Avenger, Demonic Tutor, and Wrath of God being among the included promos.
